Custom Sportbike Concepts, Seminole Powersports and Stunt Wars Inc. joined forces to create a custom 2008 Honda CBR1000RR to be auctioned off at the end of 2008 on eBay. All proceeds will go to Fisher House, a special program that provides "comfort homes" to military family members whose loved ones are receiving long-term medical care in military hospitals.

Nick Anglada from Custom Sportbike Concepts explained why this project struck a special chord with all involved: "This is a significant build for us because of the Fisher House involvement. For the past seven years, CSC has run the custom bike show at Stunt Wars, so when the crew from Stunt Wars approached us with the concept of the build it was a natural fit. Anything we can do to support our military is essential to our business."

Buyer's Box - 2007 Honda CBR1000RR

Front end: Carrozzeria wheel, Galfer rotors and lines, Beringer calipers, ASV levers, CSC billet reservoirs, Renthal grips, Vortex clip-ons, Pirelli Diablo front tire

Rear End: Carrozzeria wheel, CSC 2-inch-over billet swingarm and billet adjustable lowering links, Pirelli Diablo 240 mm rear tire, Performance Machine four-piston caliper, Galfer rear wave rotor and line, Vortex rearsets, sprocket

Motor: CSC see-through clutch cover, Jardine slip-on exhaust

Paint: Isaac's custom paint

Polish/Chrome: Wicked Design Powder Coating

Bodywork: Hotbodies Racing windscreen and turn signals, Clear Alternatives taillight

Accessories: Vortex gas cap

Owner: The highest bidder!

Builder: Custom Sportbike Concepts (http://www.cscbikes.com)

Powder Coating: Rather than going for the blinged-out chrome style, Wicked Design Powder Coating transformed the normally black-framed bike into a super-bright white wonder including the frame, swingarm, wheels, controls and levers.

Swingarm: Instead of going extra long or excessively wide, CSC installed a 2-inch-over swingarm with a Pirelli Diablo 240mm tire that retains both functionality and handling of the stock bike while still offering the custom look.

Clutch Cover: Round-and-round. The see-through clutch cover from CSC features a polycarbonate glass window that shows the rotating clutch for that extra little bit of wow factor.

Brakes: Froggie Cycles donated a set of Beringer brake calipers squeezing Galfer rotors. The combination is an improvement over stock, even with the added weight of swingarm and wheels.
