Major league finishing touches are accented throughout the bike. An authentic baseball is encased in the headlight and the license plate is dressed in Yankees trim. Even the brake calipers sport the team's logo for some smart detail.
The crew at Unique Custom Shop turned the ride from solid stocker to minty player in only five months. And it would have been finished even sooner if it weren't for the build's only hiccup. This came when the tank was sent to a sports memorabilia company in New York to be signed by current and former Yankees. But Corbin explained that, "After a couple of months of listening to excuses as to why they couldn't get the agreed-upon signatures, we had the tank returned so we could move on with the project." While there are still plans to have the bike signed by a number of Yankees legends, the missing signatures take nothing away from the awesome bike the team has assembled.
Signatures or not, Unique Custom Shop has made its goal a reality. It's taken one of the best customization platforms ever created and shown what a bit of imagination, a passion for ingenuity and an over-drafted bank account can produce.
